Viewing All Things as a Whole

You, me, him—every person’s body, the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, the houses we live in, the flowers, grasses, and trees around us, all kinds of animals, the oceans, the deserts, the moon and sun in the sky, the twinkling stars at night—where did they all originally come from?

To answer this question, let’s first consider everything in existence—our bodies, the stars, and everything else—as a single whole, which we call the universe or the world. The question then becomes: Where did the world come from? Or, where did the universe originate?

This is a cosmic-level enigma, truly a headache-inducing problem.
